Yesterday, when I sat down to write this blog, I was sure of just a few things:
1. It was so hot outside that I was relatively sure I was melting, and felt the need to replay those famous shrieks from the Wizard of Oz in my head.
2. My computer seemed to be also affected by the heat because it was doing everything at a colossally slow pace. Either that or its age is getting the best of it. I was hoping for the heat, my wallet has been feeling pretty light recently, which while great for the quality of the back pocket of my jeans, may not be as helpful for a breaking computer.
3. I was busy editing a video of Concreate, Inc’s work at Printpack Inc., but I had no idea what their company did. While, I knew what work we were doing there and the video is highlighted with some simple explanations of our process, I wasn’t so sure about the company.
So, I did what any intelligent person would do, I googled it. And BAM! Printpack everywhere. I now also feel kind of dumb. (Google can do that to you–cunning little devil.) Printpack prints graphics onto packaging and then packages products. Print. Pack. Duh. Anyways, I looked through some of their print packing jobs and saw quite a few things that I regularly purchase from the store. I feel a lot more bonded with Printpack now. We were secret friends. So secret, even I didn’t know about it. Which made it a bit awkward, but we’ve cleared things up.
Concreate, Inc. had the pleasure of installing some killer logos for them. Well, not actually killer. It’s an expression. Don’t get all freaked out. Watch the video, love the process, love the song, and see the beautiful finished product.
