CimentArt

CimentArt – The Next Evolution Of Concrete Surface Improvement

While polished concrete has been our core offering for many years, Concreate is no one-trick pony! We’ve worked hard to become skilled applicators of many different types of coatings, on many different types of surfaces… including walls and ceilings! The coating we recommend most for those surfaces is CimentArt.

CimentArt is seen as the next step in the plaster world. It can replicate the look of stucco and venetian plaster… with the added ability to bond to most any solid substrate. Additionally, it will be waterproof which most plaster just can’t say. Keep reading to learn more!

What is CimentArt?

So, in order to decide if CimentArt is the right fit for your project, it’s important to understand what the coating is and how it’s applied.

CimentArt is a thin substance composed of specialized, high performance cement combined with polymers, aggregates, additives and the best part… your choice of colored pigments!  Since it’s not regular concrete and only needs a thin layer, it’s much lighter. The stickiness and light weight of CimentArt means you can apply it almost wherever you like… not just floors, but walls, and even ceilings! It will adhere and cover concrete, tiles, metal, plastic, stone, mortar, and more, without the need to remove the base material. Not only is there less prep work, there’s also considerable savings on demolition and disposal costs.

Where CimentArt Excels: when applied properly, the micro cement coating of CimentArt is very thin. That means less weight and stress on the substrate, but it retains the very hard, durable surface characteristics of concrete. CimentArt goes on seamlessly, which means your color schemes and patterns are no longer forced into a grid. Additionally, it can be applied to walls and ceilings, which is something you just can’t do with polished concrete. If the surface you want coated isn’t concrete, CimentArt can be applied right on top. Take a look at some examples below!

Looks awesome right? All the benefits of concrete in places you never thought it could go. It’s easy to see why it has become so popular!
