I have a love-hate relationship with Shyndigz. I am sure I am not alone.
Once upon a time my roommate brought home Peanut Butter Pie, Key Lime Pie, and Salted Chocolate Caramel Cake. I tried a bite of each one and closed the refrigerator door. They’re not yours I thought. I walked away and went back to work in my room/home office and forgot about them. After a few hours of typing away on the computer I got hungry. I opened the refrigerator and there they were looking at me, the 3 styrofoam containers of the best kind of poison. *Cue Bell Biv Devoe- Poison* My roommate is the type of person who doesn’t like leftovers so I made it my duty to make sure they didn’t go bad. I mean I can’t justify throwing them away when there are people starving around the world. It just wouldn’t be right.
We are thrilled to work with a great local business. Shyndigz started out as a one woman show and has grown to multiple locations and dozens of employees. It is a reminder that business takes time and effort to build. If people aren’t lining up to buy your product right away don’t be discouraged, just keep creating a quality product consistently and people will catch on and tell their friends. It’s all word of mouth so make it great because people will talk if they like and if they don’t. Shyndigz is brilliant. Treat a bakery as a dinner only café. A simple concept, executed well and they chose us to help them beautify their patio floor that will be walked on by up to 50 people everyday until the end of time! *hyperbole included free of charge
Look at what this ordinary concrete floor was transformed into. It looks like a swimming pool! I mean in this photo it looks like the guy is about to casually walk on water. -Made possible by the partnership between Concreate and Shyndigz.
So, the moral of the story is if you haven’t been to Shyndigz yet you should grab a friend or two and head over and sit on the patio that is available All. Year. Long. Of course, you could order delivery from Shyndigz 2go but then you wouldn’t be able to walk on water and that is an experience you don’t want to miss.
